February 7, March 7, April 4, May 2, June 6, July 11
Drop-ins welcome! $20/class
Six-week series $100.00
No experience in dance or yoga required, and all movement backgrounds are welcome!
Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing.
The goal of these classes is to have fun and feel well, never to dance well.
Dr. Donna Davenport, dancer and choreographer, is grateful for a wonderful career as a
Professor of Dance at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where she taught dance
improvisation to beginners and yoga to community members, as well as teaching dance major
curriculum. As she shifts her focus, she holds 200 and 300-hour yoga teacher training
certificates (May 2018 and Sept 2024). After starting her yoga journey with Dr. Monica Lesslie
in Geneva, NY in 2013, she continued training with expert teachers at Tru Yoga, with Aimee
Senise (SHRI Vinyasa Yoga) and Jesse Amesmith (YogaVibe) in Rochester. As a teacher of
creative movement and yoga, Donna hopes to inspire self-acceptance and encourage free
expression.
